Woman accused of running over roommate with car has case bound to circuit court

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A Cape Girardeau woman charged with involuntary manslaughter had her case bound over to circuit court on Wednesday.

Angelia J. Hanson, 29, is accused of driving over Jody L. Lane with a vehicle in July 2013.

Lane was taken to a local hospital and died.

Police say Hanson and Lane were living together at a home on North Fountain where the crash happened.

Court docket entries show the court found on Wednesday that the state showed probable cause that the crime was committed, and that Hanson was the offending party.

Her case was bound over to Division I Circuit Court. She is set to appear on Monday, September 3.

The hearing order was signed by Judge Kamp.
