After a 10-month national search, Cape Girardeau city leaders selected a new police chief. He's been on the job for three weeks now, and we sent Todd Tumminia to find out how things are going and what his plan is for the city. You can watch the interview tonight, on Heartland News at 9 and 10.

In an I-Team special report, Poplar Bluff's newest council member has some accusations against City Manager Doug Bagby, a 40-year city employee. Outside the Heartland, a Canadian family with an autistic child received a disturbing letter from an anonymous neighbor on Friday. The neighbor wrote an offensive tirade against the parents whose teenage child suffers from severe autism.
