CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Two familiar faces in the automotive world stopped by the 7th Annual Cars for Kids show at the Arena Building on Saturday.

Thousands came out to see all the cars on display and to enjoy lots of food and games. The show welcomed Cherie Lynn Westrich from the show “Overhaulin’” and Rick Bacon from the show called “Muscle Car Garage.” They spoke about what it means to them to help the children.

“Something like this, just knowing that kids are going to benefit from us being here and what Rick’s doing. Super fun,” Westrich said.

Cars for Kids began in 1990 in Tennessee. Proceeds from the event are donated to local handicapped children and to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
