MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A 3-year-old was injured after a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in western Kentucky.

According to McCracken County Sheriff's deputies, the crash happened shortly after 8 a.m. in the 3100 block of Benton Road.

An officer say David S. Juell, 58, of Paducah was driving a 1992 Ford F-150 and was pulling out of AAA Storage between two stopped vehicles. According to an officer's report, Juell did not see a 2007 Chevy HHR driven by Heather R. Henson, 32, of Paducah going south bound on Benton Road .

Juell's vehicle then hit Henson's vehicle on the driver's side. The impact caused Henson to run her vehicle off the right side of the road before it went down an embankment.

The impact caused Henson's 3-year-old son's booster seat to dislocate from the seat belt and tip over.

The 3-year-old from Paducah was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting on scene was Reidland-Farley Fire Department and Mercy Ambulance Service.
