MARION, IL (KFVS) -

The Marion Police Department is looking for help identifying two suspects in surveillance videos from Walmart.

According to police, the videos taken on August 11 shows a crime in progress in which a white female is distracted by a black female in the hair care aisle. While the victim is being distracted, she walks away from her cart and leaves her purse. Police say another black female comes from the other direction and removes the victim's wallet from the purse without her knowledge. They say the other suspect continues a conversation with the victim after the theft as if nothing happened.

Police say the two suspects meet up in Walmart and try to buy something with the victim's credit cards. Another video shows the two suspects leaving Walmart with one looking through the wallet. Police sent us both videos and we combined them into one.

The video is being used with permission from the victim, so police say others can be made aware of their surrounding, and what can happen if personal property is left unattended.

If you recognize one or both suspects, please call the Marion Police Department at 618-993-2124.
