CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Deputies in Cape Girardeau need your help identifying some people.

Investigators say members of a group bought a large amount of the substance used to damage a bridge on County Road 459 over the weekend.

According to the sheriff's department, several explosive devices were detonated on the bridge early Sunday morning.

Investigators say the people in the pictures may not be those responsible for the damage, but deputies would still like to talk to them.

According to the sheriff's office, the pictures are of the people buying the product on two different dates July 21, 2013 and August 7, 2013 from a local sports store.

Deputies say the white car in the photo is believed to be a Pontiac G6 and the occupants did speak to the occupants of the white truck in the photograph. The male in the white sleeveless t-shirt was the driver of the car and might be the owner.

If you recognize anyone in these pictures or the car investigators believe they were driving, you're asked to call the sheriff's department.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (B.A.T.F.E.) and the F.BI have been asked to assist in identifying the device and those involved, according to the sheriff's office.
