Benton store clerk charged with unlawful delivery of controlled substance

BENTON, IL (KFVS) -

A clerk at a Benton, Illinois business faces several charges.

The Franklin County State's Attorney's Office filed an arrest warrant for Erin Williams, a clerk at The Smoke Break in Benton.

Williams was charged with four counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance analog within 1000 feet of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Benton.

Illinois State Police, Benton Police Department, West City Police Department, and the Franklin County Sheriff's Office searched The Smoke Break on Main Street.
