Paducah woman injured in overnight shooting

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

Police are investigating an overnight shooting that left one woman injured.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of the Brickhouse nightclub in the 900 block of Boyd Street.

No one in the club admitted to seeing or hearing anything, according to police.

Mark Buchanan of Paducah told officers his car was hit twice by bullets. Police found two bullet holes in the car.

Officers say there was blood at the scene and officers notified two area hospitals.

A little later officers say 26-year-old Eulika Lowe of Paducah arrived at Baptist Health Paducah with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Hospital officials notified police, and Lowe was treated and released.

According to Paducah Police, information leading to an arrests or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
