LAKE COUNTY, TN (KFVS) -

Deputies say a  Lake County man is in jail after a marijuana grow operation was found inside his home on Friday.

Deputies went to a home Friday on Sunkist Beach Road in eastern Lake County. When the officers approached home, they said they could smell the odor of raw marijuana.

After a search, officers found the marijuana grow operation in the home.

James Adam Pugh, 34, was taken to the Lake County Jail pending a charge of possession and manufacturing of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver.

Officers confiscated 52 marijuana plants, grow lights, and a number of other items associated with a grow operation.

Deputies say approximate street value for the marijuana recovered is between $40,000 to $50,000.
