Man jumps from moving vehicle during argument with wife

DUNKLIN COUNTY (KFVS) -

Authorities say a Bootheel man was injured after jumping from a moving vehicle during an argument with his wife.

It happened around 1:45 p.m. on Thursday in Dunklin County.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies were called to County Road 431 and 442 where a man was in the ditch with a broken ankle.

Deputies say Matthew Blagg said he and his wife were arguing as they were driving east on County Road 442. Blagg asked his wife to take him home or let him out of the vehicle.

According to the sheriff's office, Blagg jumped from the moving vehicle, severely injuring his ankle.

Blagg was taken by helicopter to a Memphis hospital for treatment.
