PEMISCOT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Two people are being held in the Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office in Caruthersville, Missouri on outstanding warrants from Baxter County, Arkansas for felony theft of property.

Kenneth Dale Grady, 38, of Hayti and Faith Hope Babcock, 38, of Caruthersville, were arrested Tuesday morning.

They are awaiting extradition to Baxter County.

The felony arrest warrants were issued after the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation the theft of two personal watercraft and a trailer that was reported on July 20 as being stolen from the Jordan Marina on Lake Norfork. The watercraft and trailer were valued collectively around $20,000.

Evidence indicated that the suspect purchased fuel for the watercraft on or about July 6 and used a credit card to pay for the fuel. The credit card was in the name of Faith Babcock, who someone the owner knows. Investigators also developed information to indicate that Kenneth Grady was with Faith Babock when this occurred.

The two personal watercraft and the trailer have been returned to the owner.

Once Grady and Babcock are extradited, they will have a bond of $15,000 each on their charges.
