MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Two people face charges after a man was stabbed in Marshall County.

Deputies were called to Karen Fay Lane in Marshall County in reference to a disturbance on July 29.

The victim told authorities a man and a woman had both stabbed him.

Misty E. Thorn, 36, of Almo and Troy D. Thompson, 47, of Almo are charged with assault 1st degree and tampering with physical evidence.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, Thorn admitted to stabbing the man with an orange handled knife.

A deputy found one knife next to the driver's seat of a van Thompson was driving and the other knife hidden in a bed. Blood stains were found on both knives.

Both suspects were taken to the Marshall County Detention Center.
