Todd Tumminia was in Poplar Bluff today where a church that has been growing for 11 years now recently received a letter saying they have to move. He'll have more tonight on Heartland News at 9 and 10.

The Village of Elkville no longer has its own police force after the city laid off the remaining officers during tonight's meeting. Allison Twaits was at the meeting. Watch for more, tonight at 9 and 10.

Human remains have been found in a septic tank in rural St. Francois County today. The sheriff's department said the discovery of the remains is the culmination of a seven month long missing person investigation. You can click here for the story.

A Wayne County sheriff's dispatcher is behind bars and is accused of selling synthetic marijuana. Sheriff Dean Finch said the dispatcher, Krista McAllister, had only been working for the department for two months. Tyler Profilet had the story. You can click here for more.

A total of six dogs have been found dead within a week near Sikeston, Mo. Two of the dogs were found in Grant City; one dog was found on Route 60 and the other three dogs on Route AA.
