Three workers had to be hospitalized after lime poured over a man this morning at the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Cape Girardeau. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Hashhider said a worker was in a storage control room around 9:30 a.m. when a silo above him released dropped lime on top of him before knocking him down.

Cape Girardeau could soon be seeing stars! Chuck Martin with the Cape Girardeau Visitors Bureau said a significant part of the major motion picture based on the book "Gone Girl" may be filmed in Cape Girardeau. Todd Tumminia has the story.
