ST. LOUIS (KFVS) -

The FBI is looking for a bank robbery suspect nicknamed the "I-55 Bandit."

The FBI believes the same person may be responsible for robbing four banks along Interstate 55 since May 2013.

In all four cases, the suspect used a demand note and did not show a weapon, but implied he was armed.

The man is suspected of robbing the Scott Credit Union in Edwardsville, Illinois on May 6, U.S. Bank in Crystal City, Missouri on May 15, First State Community Bank in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on May 21, and the Commerce Bank in Arnold, Missouri on July 2.

The "I-55 Bandit" is described at 18 to 25 years old, 6' to 6' 3" tall with thin, short brown hair.
