One-on-one interview with Otto Porter Jr.

SCOTT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

The number three pick in last week's NBA draft and Scott County Central alum Otto Porter Jr. spoke with KFVS sports anchor Josh Frydman Tuesday for an exclusive one-on-one interview at his high school gym.

The soft spoken, humble Porter explained his draft-day memories, his support back home, and how he fits in to his new team the Washington Wizards.

Porter earned all-state honors as a junior and senior at Scott County Central leading the Braves to three straight Class 1 state championships and giving the school its state-record 15th title overall.

He earned All-America honors as a sophomore at Georgetown in 2012-2013 and was named Big East Player of the Year.

Porter Jr. signed a basketball which Heartland Sports will be giving away this upcoming Heartland Hoops season. Click here for a look at the autographed ball.
