Changes to Ill. concealed carry bill, Fire department shake-up

The leaders of the Illinois House and Senate say they have to look at Gov. Pat Quinn's proposed changes to concealed carry legislation, but they've suggested an override is likely. Quinn used his amendatory veto power today to toughen a concealed carry bill. The changes include imposing a one-gun limit for carry. Illinois has to comply with a July 9 deadline. Two more fire department members resigned last night after the fire chief resigned over the weekend amid a city investigation into the Rural District Fire Department in Piedmont, Missouri. Kadee Brosseau will have more on Heartland News a Six.

An Anna woman accused of kidnapping a newborn baby was appointed a public defender in court today.

The Kennett Police Department is asking for help identifying a man wanted in an investigation of indecent exposure and sexual misconduct.
