Wednesday morning online trends 6/26

(KFVS) -

The Internet is buzzing Wednesday morning with trending topics and here's a look at some of the top stories.

A video of man's best friend welcoming home military men and women has gone viral.

It's been called an emotional and compelling video and you can watch it here.

A map is trending this week, even though it's been around for almost a month.

The map was created to showcase the most popular brand in a given American state.

It's a visually interesting map and worth a look.

You can check it out here.

Another video involving dogs has gained a lot of attention online.

A dog burying another dog that died is raising questions about whether dogs can mourn and if they have emotions or whether this was an example of an animal instinct.

Songwriter David Lowery, known as the lead singer for the band Cracker, is speaking out against the minimal royalties he allegedly received from Pandora.

The free radio app reportedly played one of his songs 1.1 million times and only paid him $16.82 in royalties.

According to Daily Mail, this means Lowery was paid one cent for every 274 times his song was played.
