SALINE COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

An Eldorado woman was injured after she drove her car into a bowling alley Friday morning in Muddy.

Saline County Central Dispatch said they received several reports of car crash on US 45 North in Muddy at 11:10 a.m. Friday.

Saline County Deputies arrived to find that Betty Reed, 83, of Eldorado had ran thru the Ross Cottom Lanes. Reed told deputies she was slowing to avoid another vehicle and mistakenly hit the accelerator. Reed hit a pole and two signs, before she crashed into and entered the bowling alley.

Reed was taken to a hospital in Harrisburg and was later transferred to a hospital in Evansville, Ind. with an arm injury.

The sheriff's office said no one else was injured during the crash. They say it is still under investigation.
