LAURENS COUNTY, SC (WYFF) - Laurens County deputies arrested a mother and her two daughters after finding 80 dead animals in their home on Love Joy Lane Thursday.

Lt. Judy Stiles of the Laurens County Sheriff's Office said the animals had been dead for a while.

"It was all sorts of animals," she said. "Dogs, cats, birds and even baby deer."

Investigators said they charged 58-year-old Rebecca Keith, 33-year-old Amanda Keith and 31-year-old Sara Keith with ill treatment of animals and failure to bury animals property.

The three women have posted bond, according to jail officials.

Stiles said authorities found animal carcasses in the refrigerator, freezer and throughout the property.

The family was in the process of being evicted from the home when the dead animals were discovered.
