MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A Missouri man was arrested in Paducah Sunday after he was found in the company of two missing Naples, Florida girls.

Ivan E. Coleman III, 22, of Park Hills, Missouri is charged in a Collier County, FL, warrant with two counts of kidnapping a minor.

Paducah police were notified just before 7 p.m. Sunday that the two missing girls – ages 14 and 15 – were believed to be in Paducah with Coleman.

An officer spotted the car the trio was supposed to be in and stopped it, with assistance from County Coroner Dan Sims, on Hinkleville Road at Coleman Road.

Deputies say that Coleman met the 15-year-old on the Internet. Saturday, the girl and her 14-year-old friend ran off with him.

An Amber Alert was issued on Sunday and then by 8:30 Sunday night Coleman was under arrest.

Coleman was arrested as a fugitive from justice in Florida and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.

Department of Community-Based Services representatives responded and took charge of the girls.

One of the girls was released to family friends from Tennessee until the parents could arrive from Florida. The other girl was placed in a group home until her parents can travel to Kentucky to get her.
