2 charged after convenience store armed robbery

OLD APPLETON, MO (KFVS) -

Two men have been charged in connection to an armed robbery of an Old Appleton convenience store.

Nicholas Adam Zuccarini, 20, of Altenburg, Missouri, was charged with felony first degree armed robbery and armed criminal action. Bond was set at $50,000 cash only.

Kellen Michael Johnson was also charged with felony first degree armed robbery and armed criminal action. Bond was set at $50,000 cash only.

According to the Cape County Sheriff's Office, they received a 911 call from an employee with the Old Appleton Amerimart reporting an armed robbery on May 3.

According to the sheriff's office, the robber showed a gun and took an undetermined amount of cash.

Zuccarini and Johnson were also charged with the robbery at the Bayou Bar and Grill in Pocahontas, Missouri on March 20.

Zuccarini was charged in that robbery with burglary and stealing and a probation violation. Other charges are pending. Bond for Zuccarini's probation violation is $25,000 cash or surety and for the burglary $25,000 cash or surety.

Bond for Johnson in that robbery was set at $10,000 cash or surety.
