Does It Work?: Marshmallow shooter

By Joe Terrell - bio | email

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A lot of people use marshmallows in their Thanksgiving cooking (candied yams and such). But, what to do with all the leftovers in the bag that you don't use?

The marshmallow shooter shoots mini marshmallows 30 feet for ages 6 and up. The box reads: Warning, do not shoot in eyes or face. Do not modify shooter or use if damaged. Shoot marshmallows only. Do not shoot anything other than marshmallows. Do not eat marshmallows after shooting. Well, I could see I was definitely going to break at least two of those rules.

About three minutes later, I wrestled the gun out of the box.

Instructions? Pop off the magazine and load up to 25 bullets (marshmallows) inside.

Testing it out, did we make 30 feet as the box claims? We did better than that.

What about accuracy? I tried everything but a laser sight...which I'm not sure would have helped. Finally one hit the target.

Do try the marshmallow shooter. Does it work? We give it a 'Yes.'

We got the marshmallow shooter at Bed, Bath & Beyond. You can click here to order them.
