Cape Girardeau police looking for 'underwear bandit'

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Cape Girardeau police say someone stole items from a home last weekend, including women's underwear.

According to Officer Darin Hickey, on Monday around 6:30 p.m. officers responded to the 300 block of North Pacific to a reported burglary.

The four women told police that three of them had gone out of town on Saturday.

One of the residents said she would leave for work in the morning and return in the evening.  Police say she did not notice anything missing until the other three roommates returned a couple of days later.

Several items were reported missing from the home including underwear, electronics and jewelry.

There are no suspects in custody at this time. The case is still under investigation.
