SUV overturns near Benton after hydroplaning

BENTON, MO (KFVS) -

A Cape Girardeau woman was injured Saturday morning after the SUV she was driving hydroplaned on a wet road and overturned in Scott County.

It happened around 7:50 a.m. on Highway 77, two miles south of Benton, Missouri.

Artisha V. Sharp, 24, who was wearing a seatbelt, received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to a Cape Girardeau hospital, according to Missouri Highway Patrol.
