PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The 29th annual Quilt Week is in full swing in Paducah.
More than 30,000 visitors are expected in town for the event.
Hotels from Cape Girardeau, Marion, and Kentucky Lake are filled up for the event that attracts artists from all over the world.
"We really roll out the red carpet for the quilters," said Laura Schaumburg from the Paducah Convention and Visitors Bureau. "Businesses have quilting displays in the windows and dining specials. It's big for the entire region."
Shows, contests, and lectures are held throughout the Arts District through Saturday.
