More than 100 students participated in SIU's 15th Aviation Day

More than 100 high school students got a first class experience at Southern Illinois University on Saturday. More than 100 high school students got a first class experience at Southern Illinois University on Saturday.
The students flew from Chicago O'Hare International Airport to the Southern Illinois Airport. On the flight, they learned about the ins and outs of flying. CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

More than 100 high school students got a first class experience at Southern Illinois University on Saturday.

The students flew from Chicago O'Hare International Airport to the Southern Illinois Airport. On the flight, they learned about the ins and outs of flying.

Once they landed, they toured the facility and saw everything the program has to offer.

This is the 15th Aviation Day affiliated with United Airlines. Everyone on the crew that flew Saturday are alums of SIU.
