The Cape Girardeau Police Department is searching for a suspect after an armed robbery Saturday morning. Police responded to Jasper's for Less on Morgan Oak Street, you can click here for more information.

Fire crews in Cape Girardeau battled early-morning flames at a home on the 400 block of Green Acres Street. The cause is under investigation.

Crews also fought an overnight mobile home fire near Campbell. The home is considered a total loss.

As the dust settles on the massive manhunt that led to the arrest of one Boston Marathon bombing suspect and the death of another, investigators prepare to question the suspect in custody. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was listed in serious condition Friday evening.

As the story develops, the AP reports a foreign government told the FBI in early 2011 about information that Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the brothers suspected in the Boston Marathon bombings, was a follower of radical Islam. Tamerlan Tsarnaev died in a shootout, and his younger brother was captured alive.

The AP also reports there were no sprinklers, no firewalls, no water deluge systems and safety inspections were rare at the fertilizer company in West, Texas that exploded and killed at least 14 people this week. They say this is not unusual. Small fertilizer plants nationwide fall under the purview of several government agencies, each with a specific concern and none to coordinate with others on what they have found.
