1 person injured after ATV runs into barbed wire fence

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

One person was injured after an ATV  ran into a barbed wire fence near Jackson, Mo. on Sunday.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the crash happened on County Road 442 around 4:45 p.m. when an ATV driven by 19-year-old Hunter Jessup ran off the road.

The ATV then ran into a barbed wire fence.

Jessup suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
