Fiery crash leaves 2 injured

ADVANCE, MO (KFVS) - A van bursts into flames after a crash near Advance.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 2003 Ford van driven by Richard Reutzel, 79, of Advance was turning onto County Road 307.  The van turned into the path of a 1990 Chevrolet K2500 driven by Angela McClean, 29, of Cape Girardeau.

According to witnesses on scene, the van caught fire.  A former first responder busted out a window of the vehicle, and pulled the driver to safety before it burst into flames.

Both drivers suffered moderate injuries.
