Police: 4 Illinois men face charges after victim was hit by BB

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

Police say four 19-year-olds face aggravated battery and other charges after someone was shot with a BB.

On Wednesday, police say they responded to the 800 block of East Grand Avenue in Carbondale in reference to a report of an aggravated battery.

Investigators say someone was struck by a BB that was fired by suspects inside a passing vehicle.

Officers found the vehicle and the suspects were arrested.

Nineteen-year-old Joshua L. Brady of Carterville along with Marquis D. Dunlap, Cameron A. Anderson, and Jeromee D. Russell, all 19-years-old and of Chicago, were charged with aggravated battery and reckless conduct and were taken to the Jackson County Jail. Russell was also charged with possession of cannabis.
