WESTERN KENTUCKY (KFVS) -

Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying three men suspected of cashing stolen checks.

The suspects have cashed the checks throughout Kentucky, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Investigators say the three suspects are described as Hispanic males ranging in ages from the mid-20s to mid-50s.  They typically use out-of-state identification cards or driver's licenses.

If a bank attempts to contact the business the check is drawn on, the suspects will leave.  The fraudulent checks have been written for between $950 and $999.

The names given to the banks on the provided identification change, but investigators say the suspects' photos remain the same.

Anyone with information is asked to contact KSP at 270-676-3313 or toll-free in Kentucky at 800-222-5555.  Callers can remain anonymous.
