Randolph Co. voters say no to increase sales tax

RANDOLPH COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Randolph County residents voted no Tuesday to a 1 percent sales tax increase proposed by the school district to help with repairs, and new construction of buildings.

The final unofficial results are 3,906 said no and 3,077 said yes.

The current sales tax rate in Randolph County is 6.25 percent.
