Bonne Terre couple injured in Marshall County, Ky. motorcycle crash

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Deputies were dispatched to the I-24 Tennessee River Bridge to a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger car in Marshall County, Ky.on Friday.

According to a deputy's report, both vehicles were eastbound with the passenger car in front of the motorcycle. The operator of the car, John Ryan of Chicago, began to slow down due to road construction.

The operator of the motor cycle, Michael Pyatt of Bonne Terre, Missouri, was unable to slow enough and struck the rear of the car.

Pyatt was taken by ambulance to Lourdes hospital for treatment. The passenger on the motorcycle, Shannon Pyatt, was taken by Air Evac to Evansville hospital.

Marshall Co. Sheriff's Office, KSP, KSP vehicle Enforcement, Marshall Co. EMS, Livingston Co. EMS, Air Evac, Palma Briensburg FD, Gilbertsville FD and Grand Lakes FD, all assisted with the crash.
