2 western Ky. brothers facing drug trafficking charges

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Deputies say two brothers from western Kentucky are facing charges in connection to trafficking of marijuana.

Two brothers from the Farley area face charges. Ahmad Perry, 20, was charged with four counts of trafficking marijuana as well as one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Akeem Perry, 19, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Wednesday morning, deputies and detectives executed a search warrant on Benton Road Paducah. Three adults and three juveniles were found inside the home

Investigators the Perry brothers were both found with marijuana in their possession.

During a search of their home, deputies say drug money from illegal drug sales and evidence of the sale of illegal drugs were located.

Three juvenile children were released to family members and the Perry brothers were arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Investigators say more charges are possible due to other drug items found during the search of the residence.

Marshall County Sheriff's Office and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted in the investigation.
