(KFVS) -

Lots of interesting things happening this Friday morning on the web. Here's a couple that you'll want to know about for today.

This one is big on several sites Friday morning.

The Tampa Bay Rays are in some hot water over a controversial sign their mascot held up at a game.

The sign belonged to and was created by a fan at the game, but when the team's mascot decided to hold it up things got a little dicey.

The sign which seems to make a crack at the death of Steve Irwin, who was killed in 2006 by a stingray, has lots of people upset.

The Rays have since apologized for the incident.

Take a look at the sign by clicking here and see what you think.

For those of you who are entirely sick of hearing about the Royal Family, this one's for you.

A little girl in Scotland had what some may consider a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with Prince William, but turned it down in what many are calling a 'royal snub'.

She was probably just shy about meeting a prince, but who knows, maybe she just isn't impressed by his highness.

Check out the video of the snub below.
