CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - A woman was run over by a truck in a Cape Girardeau bank parking lot Tuesday, March 26.
Sgt. Rodney Barker with Cape Girardeau Police Department says the driver of an F150 was traveling Westbound on Bloomfield street.
He says the driver's mother was acting in a combative manner in the passenger seat and threatened to jump out of the moving vehicle. The driver tried to stop the vehicle before she could jump out. As the driver pulled into the Bank of Missouri parking lot, the passenger jumped out and was run over by the back tire. She had injuries to her abdomen area and taken to Saint Francis Medical Center.
Barker says the passenger was under the influence of narcotics. Neither the driver nor the passenger are facing any charges at this time.
