Steele police arrested an Arkansas man wanted on assault and armed criminal action charges from a March 16 shooting.
Timothy Johnson, 33, of Blytheville, Arkansas was arrested on an active warrant of two counts of first degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action on Sunday, March 24.
Steele Police received information that Johnson was hiding from officers at a home on Barnes Street.
Officers found Johnson and arrested him without incident.
This arrest stems from a shooting that happened on Bates Street in Steele on March 16. A person was shot in the arm.
Johnson was taken to the Pemiscot County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
