Carbondale Police say a murder suspect they have been searching for has been found in Arkansas.
Kely Yajid Valentino Arbuckle was arrested Friday in St. Francis County, Arkansas on the outstanding Jackson County warrant charging him with first degree murder.
Police say his capture was a result of the investigative work conducted by the City of Carbondale Police Department, with assistance from the United States Marshal Service, Arkansas State Police, and the St. Francis County, Arkansas Sheriff's Office and the Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force.
Carbondale Deputy Chief Stan Reno says Arbuckle was an acquaintance of the victim, Toren Stanley, 20, of Marion.
Police were notified of the crime when Stanley was being treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound March 9 in Carbondale.

Carbondale police are investigating the homicide of a 20-year-old man.
According to Chief Jody O'Guinn, officers are investigating Toren Stanley's death as a homicide. The shooting occurred at the intersection of East Grand and Giant City Road.
