A bear rushes a ticket stand at a train station in Siberia. (Source: The Siberian Times/YouTube)(RNN) – The reports of bears wandering into neighborhoods and back yards across the U.S. are commonplace, but there haven't been reports of them demanding a ride somewhere.
A video out of Siberia, Russia – where they put dancing bears in the circus – shows one rushing a train ticket stand three times. The bear backs up and runs at the booth, slamming into the metal bars and glass protecting the train employee, who can be heard saying "mishka, mishka" – a name given to brown bears by Russians.
The bear eventually gives up and wanders away.
The Siberian Times, which posted the video on its YouTube page, reports bears are coming out of the wilderness more often in search of food. A shortage of berries and nuts, as well as unsecured trash bins, contributed to an increase of sightings.
