Man wearing holster, badge taken into custody after 911 call

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A 911 call on Tuesday ended with a man behind bars Wednesday on drug charges.

Cape Girardeau Police got a warrant Christopher Parmer, 29, Wednesday afternoon. He was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He's was taken to jail on $10,000 bond.

According to Cape Girardeau officer Darin Hickey, the 911 call came in about 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

The caller reported a man walking around a business in the 800 block of Kingshighway with holster and a gun.

When Cape Girardeau police found the suspect he was wearing a holster and had a police badge.

Police say they also found a B. B. gun close to the suspect. According to Hickey, the man was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
