Perryville's Board of Alderman met tonight to decide whether or not to accept the chief of police's resignation. Christy Millweard was in Perryville and will have more tonight at 9 and 10.

Talk of new gun control legislation is contributing to a shortage of some guns and ammunition nationwide. That shortage is now impacting another gun issue – concealed carry qualification. Arnold Wyrick will have more on this story tonight at 9 and 10.

A suburban Detroit grandmother was convicted today of second-degree murder for killing her teenage grandson last spring, as jurors rejected her claim that she shot him six times in self-defense.

A judge sentenced a smiling TJ Lane to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of three students in Chardon, Ohio. Lane appeared in court wearing a white t-shirt with the word "KILLER" written in black magic marker. He then flipped his middle finger to the courtroom and mouthed the words to go along with the gesture.
