PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

Investigators say three store clerks in McCracken County were found selling alcohol to minors on Friday night.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, during an investigation in cooperation with the Kentucky Department of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC), they found that local businesses were not checking the I. D. of minors buying alcohol.

Several businesses were investigated Friday evening. Investigators say three stores were found selling to minors: Superway service station on Hinkleville Road; Paducah Liquors on Hinkleville Road and Pocket's service station on Cairo Road.

Three store clerks were cited to court on charges of selling alcoholic beverages to minors-first offense (a class B misdemeanor).
