ANNA, IL (KFVS) -

A brutal beating of a sixteen year old Anna boy sends him to the hospital and four other teenagers to jail. Now the teens behind bars are facing new charges.

According to Union County State's Attorney Tyler Edmonds, the four teens accused now face one count each of felony mob action. They four are already facing charges of felony aggravated battery.

Damian Tracy says he and a couple of his friends were riding around on Saturday night, and that they were drinking.

Shortly before 7 p.m. that night they decided to stop off at a popular teen hangout in Anna, known as 'The Sneak.'

"I remember coming back to 'The Sneak" and them dropping me off so they could go drink some more," said Tracy." And that's really all I remember after that."

Damian says he doesn't remember being hit in the head with a baseball bat, and waking up in the Union County Hospital several hours later.

"I really didn't know what was going on. I thought I might be in there because I was drinking a lot. But it wasn't, it was because they hit me."

On Tuesday night Anna Police arrested four suspects in the alleged beating.

They've been identified as 17-year-old Damian Martin, 18-year-old Clint Hilman, 18-year-old James Davis and 19-year-old Bruel Miller.

All four teens were charged with aggravated battery and taken to the Jackson County Jail.

Each one was being held there on a $100,000-dollar bond.

Damian says he really doesn't have much to say to any of the four.

"Just wondering why they did it? I don't really understand why. I don't know what their reason would be," Tracy said.

He's been able to return to his classes at the Anna-Jonesboro High School, and workout with the track team as they prepare for their upcoming meets this Spring.
