FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - On Monday, March 11, 2013, parts of southern Illinois felt the earth move.

According to the United States Geological Survey, a 2.7 magnitude earthquake shook East-North-East of Benton, Illinois.

The quake epicenter was 5 kilometers or about 3.1 miles deep at 1:56 a.m.

It was two miles southwest of Macedonia, Ill.

No reports of any damage at this time.

One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.
