BENTON, MO (KFVS) -

Are you a Duck Dynasty fan?

John Koepp started making duck calls 5 years ago in his basement in Benton, Missouri as a hobby.

Now, his custom-made products are being sold all over the world.

Koepp says the show has brought the spotlight on something he is very passionate about, duck calls.

And, he does share a similarity with the people on the show.

"Most water-fowlers usually have a beard, because they don't have time to shave," said Koepp. "They are out chasing ducks and geese. Also, it helps knock the wind off your face a little bit."

Koepp says he wife will not let his beard get any longer.
