Man jailed on several drug charges due to unrelated warrant

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A McCracken County man is facing several drug charges after a search of his home on Wednesday.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies had been notified of an outstanding warrant from Louisiana on Jeremiah L. Mann for charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile by computer aided solicitation of a minor, pornography involving juveniles and sexual exploitation of a minor.

After several attempts were made to locate Mann, deputies found him at 6925 Old Mayfield Road.

Mann's house was searched and deputies found hydrocodone, valium and adderall along with a marijuana smoking pipe.

Mann admitted to being the owner of the controlled substances and said he didn't have a prescription for them.

Deputies arrested Mann on the Louisiana outstanding warrant and took him to McCracken County Jail with a bond of $150,000.

Mann also faces several drug charges including: possession of a controlled substance, 2nd degree; possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree; illegal possession of a legend drug; prescription controlled substance not in original container; drug paraphernalia, buy/possess.
