KYTC closes part of KY 723/Pinckeyville road to replace a cross drain.

SALEM, IL (AP/KFVS) -

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close KY 723/Pinckneyville Road near the Salem community in Livingston County on Thursday, March 7, 2013.

This closure on KY 723/Pinckneyville Road at mile point 4.5 is for the replacement of a cross drain. 

This is on KY 723 about a mile south of the US 60 Intersection in Salem.

The roadway at this site is expected to close about 8:00 a.m., on Thursday after the morning school bus run.  It is expected to reopen to traffic about 2:00 p.m., CST.

There will be no marked detour.  However, motorists may self-detour via KY 1423/Cedar Grove Road.
