Dan's Death by Chocolate Dan's Death by Chocolate
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

This week's Heartland Cook comes from within the KFVS family. Dan Johnson is an audio operator in the news production department. BE WARNED: his dish "Death by Chocolate" is so dangerously delicious you run a very serious risk of eating the entire bowl in one sitting!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box brownie mix (prepared)
  • 2 boxes instant choc pudding (prepared)
  • 1 tub Cool whip

Directions:

Prepare brownies and instant pudding according to directions on respective boxes.

Crumble half of the brownies on the bottom of large bowl or glass pan and top with half of the chocolate pudding. Add a layer of cool whip on top of the pudding.

Repeat entire process for a second layer.

If you have a recipe you'd like to show off, we want to hear from you. Send Carly or Jaime an e-mail. You share the recipe and we'll do the cooking!
