Miner police arrested a Hayti man Friday after he allegedly was involved in a car jacking in Pevely, Mo.
Around 7:30 a.m. on Friday, March 1, the Miner Police Department received a report of a car jacking in Pevely, Mo. With the information given, officers were able to locate a possible address of the suspect which indicated he lived in Hayti, Mo.
Officers say they checked the area of I-55 southbound, and were able to find the suspect vehicle. They stopped the vehicle and arrested 61-year-old Jerry Ray White.
White is being held at the Miner Police Department, and the investigation is ongoing.
